Christian life, after all is said and done, is about choices. We are the choices we make, no more no less. What kind of priorities do we have in our lives? Do we have priorities? It is clear that Jesus is not condemning money or wealth because they are evil, but because they replace God in our lives. The priorities are not in place, therefore we experience chaos. While there are values in our lives like wealth, money, good health, there are also spiritual values which are far more important. So Jesus points out what is most important, more important, important, less important, not important. He challenges us to set our priorities straight. How do you feel starting a trip and not knowing where you are going? When we were baptized, the spiritual trip began and it will never stop until we die; do we know where are we going?
