This Easter we must resolve the dichotomy of darkness and light, emptiness and fulfillment. We are willing to live in the light, but we do not want to cross the tunnel and see the light. Easter is about accepting the unknown, the emptiness, and getting out of darkness; that is why Mary Magdalene, Peter, and John experienced. The highway of life is full of pleasant surprises, do not miss the beauty of nature and the goodness of the Lord: slow down and enjoy the flowers and the blue sky. A minister was not really slowing down, as a matter of fact he received a speeding ticket. In court, the judge asked if he had anything to say. "Yes, Your honor," he replied, "Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy." The judge fined him $250.00 and admonished him, "Go, now and sin no more."
