"Jesus taught with authority and not like the scribes did." It seems that the evangelist Mark does not elaborate on this important statement. We presume that Jesus did not teach healing, he healed; he did not teach forgiveness, he forgave. Words, sometimes are useless and even boring: actions make our teaching very effective. There was a criminal lawyer who was absolutely fantastic arguing the case for about three days. On the fourth day, he noticed that a juror was missing, so he turned to the judge and said: "Your honor, a juror is missing." The judge said, "She was excused, because she got sick, but do not worry, she handed me the verdict already and if you keep on talking, all of us will be excused." Actions speak louder than words!
