There are many crises in the bible as well in our daily lives. Joshua's crisis "If it does not please you to serve the Lord, decide today whom you will serve (Jos 24:1-2) Ephesians' crisis: "Wives be submissive to your husbands...wives love your husbands." (Eph:5:21). The gospel's crisis: "This sort of talk is too hard top endure! How can anyone take it seriously?" (Jn 6:60). Crises, usually, in our daily lives have a negative connotation. The truth is that the term "crisis" belongs to a larger family of words: criterion, critique, critical. Each of these words come from the Greek "Krinein," which means to sift, to separate, to decide. Therefore, crisis is not necessarily a negative connotation, but a turning point, a moment of decision, which will determine a future direction.
